There are many problems in the gas chromatography method for detecting methane and non-methane total hydrocarbons in exhaust gas. Tengzhou Haohao Chromatography Instrument Technology Service Co., Ltd. has made im portant research on the selection, sampling method, sample storage, gas distribution mode and instrument co nfiguration of standard reference gas. The results show that the use of methane as the standard reference gas is optimal, depending on the actual co nditions of the source, the power sampling or manual sampling of the glass syringe can be selected. The sample gas is better stored in the inert gas bag than the glass syringe. The experimental analysis is more recommended for gas chromatography with two-column configuration. Manually preparing the standard gas series and using the packed column can also meet the quality requirements of the test.
