Application: Determination of trace methanol and ethanol in water

Methanol, also known as wood spirit or wood alcohol, is mainly used to paralyze blood vessels and cause neurodegeneration, especially the damage to the optic nerve. Therefore, methanol must be measured as a health indicator in wine. The country has standard inspection methods and standard values. However, the determination method and standard value of methanol in the final discharged sewage of some chemical plants have not been reported in China.
