: The synthesis process of β-pinene oxidation to prepare nopinene was optimized, and the influence of reaction time, reaction temperature, catalyst type and dosage, oxidant type and dosage, and solvent type on the reaction co nversion rate and selectivity were discussed. The results of the study showed: 5.00 g β-pinene, 3 mL 2 mol/L H_2SO_4, reaction time 3 h, reaction temperature 21-24℃, catalyst is cetyltrimethylammo nium bromide (CTAB), dosage 0.20 g, oxidant is potassium permanganate, n (potassium permanganate): n (β-pinene) is 3.2:1, solvent is acetone, under mechanical stirring conditions, the co nversion rate of nopinone synthesis reaction reaches 99.5 %, the selectivity is as high as 92.2%.
