Butyraldehyde is an im portant organic chemical product, mainly used in the manufacture of resins, plasticized brakes, vulcanization accelerators, etc. The main impurities in butyraldehyde are water, crotonaldehyde, butyric acid and trace amounts of acetaldehyde, ethanol, acetone, etc. The butyraldehyde co ntent is more than 95%, so it is difficult to use chemical analysis and the accuracy is also poor.
After testing, Haohan Chromatography (Shandong) Applied Technology Development Co., Ltd. used a polyethylene glycol column FID gas chromatograph to chromatographically quantify the impurities, and then calculated the butyraldehyde co ntent by the subtraction method. A satisfactory result was obtained. The maximum relative deviation was 5.26%.
