Carbon molecular sieve is a new type of gas chromatography stationary phase that appeared in the 1970s. It has the advantages of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high column efficiency, long column life, simple operation and good reproducibility. Since 1973, we have been conducting research on this and achieved good results. The results of the application of several carbon molecular sieves in gas analysis in metals are introduced as follows.

This standard specifies the gas chromatography method for the determination of H2, N2, CO, CO2, C1~C8 saturated hydrocarbons and unsaturated hydrocarbons in the tail gas of coal-based Fischer-Tropsch synthesis.
This standard is applicable to the determination of H2, N2, CO, CO2, C1~C8 saturated hydrocarbon and unsaturated hydrocarbon content in coal-based Fischer-Tropsch synthesis tail gas within the range shown in Table 1.
