This standard specifies the method for the determination of carbon dioxide content in the fouling and corrosion products with carbonate as the main component in the circulating cooling water system. According to the content of carbon dioxide, the content of carbonate in the fouling and corrosion products can be calculated. The measurement range is 0.1% to 40%.   
This standard applies to the determination of carbon dioxide content in the fouling and corrosion products of circulating cooling water systems.
