本标准代替ＧＢ／Ｔ３８６４—１９９６《工业氮》。本标准规定了工业氮的技术要求、检验方法以及包装、标志、贮运等。本标准适用于由分离空气制取的气态氮或液态氮，主要用作保护气、置换气、低温储藏等。 本标准与ＧＢ／Ｔ３８６４—１９９６相比主要变化如下：
———修改了适用范围（见第１章）；
———修改了规范性引用文件（见第２章）；
———修改了技术要求（见表１）；
———增加集装格装、杜瓦罐装包装方式（本标准的４．１．５）；
———将氮气体积计算修改为规范性附录（本版的附录Ｂ；１９９６年版的６．８，６．１０）；
———奥氏气体分析器及加工图修改为资料性附录（本版的５．８；１９９６年版的图１）；
———将安全要求修改为安全警示（本版的附录Ｃ；１９９６年版的第７章）；
———删除了前版的附录Ｂ。

GB/T 3864-2008 Industrial nitrogen

This standard replaces GB/T3864-1996 "Industrial Nitrogen". This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods, packaging, marking, storage and transportation of industrial nitrogen. This standard applies to gaseous nitrogen or liquid nitrogen prepared from separated air, mainly used as protective gas, replacement gas, low temperature storage, etc. Compared with GB/T3864-1996, the main changes of this standard are as follows:
--- Modified the scope of application (see Chapter 1);
--- Modified normative references (see Chapter 2);
--- Modify the technical requirements (see Table 1);
--- Increase the packaging methods of container and Dewar cans (4.1.5 of this standard);
--- Amend the calculation of nitrogen volume to a normative appendix (Appendix B of this edition; 6.8 and 6.10 of the 1996 edition);
--- Austenitic gas analyzer and processing diagram are revised as informative appendix (5.8 of this edition; Figure 1 of 1996 edition);
--- Modify the safety requirements into safety warnings (Appendix C of this edition; Chapter 7 of the 1996 edition);
--- Deleted Appendix B of the previous edition.
